I want too be cool at my school but how can I when kids pick on me

The key question was left out. Why do they pick on you?

It does not really matter what they pick on you for as any bully can focus in on sombody's weaknesses; for example mine is that I am overwieght, yours may be that you just aren't to their liking and this will lower self esteem so you will come off as shy. If you want to make more friends or "be cool" as you put it then you have to like yourself before anybody can like you.

Hey I want to say that u r need to tell u that u need to pick up your kids or someone ealse need to pick up your kids and I think that u need to pit it up and I will need to up tink that u need to do what I say to do and think u for let me tell u what to do

Just walk away from the bully. That makes them really mad. Or, for instance, if they say that you are stupid, say "Yes I am!" then they can go along insulting you but if you just say "Yup" or just any form of agreement then they can get really mad because you are not reacting to them. That's what I do. Half the people at my school dislike me. Eventually the bully will just leave you alone and pick on someone else. Also, for being "cool" can sometimes be bad. I, personally, get good grades and have friends that get good grades, and the kids that others consider "cool" are the kids who get D's and F's, and I would not want to be that kind of person. Just get your group of friends and hang out with them. I have like 5 friends, and I think that is fine.

Being cool. It means giving up on individuality really but I don't know. You need to show the people who pick on you that you're not afraid of them. I was bullied until I realised I wasn't scared. Try being friendly to 'cool people'. Don't be too big headed but act confident. Following the crowd won't always work because then they might think of you as a wannabe. Be laid back and act confident but not cocky. If you begin to get popular, don't let it go to your head. Try and be original but not too strikingly different. Being cool and being yourself at the same time is hard. Finf out what music etc is classed as popular and try to get into it.

Well, being popular has to come in from all your years in school. It's not easy anymore when you get into a high school or a college. Everybody has a story and so I suggest that you go around and ask them :] good luck. I'd give you my story but it would be pretty long

lol I don't have a dog in this fight but there is always a reason people pick on another take your situation for example I think it's because they see they are in more power then you maby you don't defend your self against these people
