Impact of coke or pepsi packaging on international markets?

The Coca Cola logo is recognized by more people that any other product world wide. The impact of such recognition is that competing brands have to sell by undercutting their price and therefore cannot make as much profit. They're one of the most profitable franchises in the international markets because when they put their logo on their packaging, it sells automatically.
