Can caster oil make you sick to your stomach?

Okay, so about five hours ago, I took some caster oil for constipation, of course. My mom mixed it with Dr. Pepper to drown out the bad taste. I drunk it & then about thirty minutes later, I used the bathroom & felt better. But the label on the container says it isn't supposed to start working for 6-12 hours. And its been almost six hours since I've taken it. But since I went earlier, I'm assuming there's nothing for the caster oil to go on. & now I'm feeling slightly sick to my stomach. Could it be the caster oil?

Probably not. Years ago many parents used castor oil as punishment for kids because it tastes so nasty. I've never heard of it either making you sick or working as a laxative. Best cure for constipation is to eat a lot of veggies.
