heres my story: Im a mother of two my son is the oldest hes 2 years old me & my ex share custody of him we also have a 1 year old babygirl. he denied her since day 1 recently he just got served with shildsupport for her know that the dna test came back 99.99% that hes da father he wants 2 claim her on his taxes!! does he have the right to do this I personally dont think he does after not helping me for 1 year nor askking about her at all he doesnt even financially help me with my son! so does he have the right to see her & claim her ass a dependandt

The IRS ruling is that the person that contributes more than half of the support for the child gets to claim the child as a dependant. If you have trouble determining that, make an appointment with your local IRS office and they will go over it with you.

Whether he gets to see her or not should be stated in the custody order from the court.
