Why after 6 years of separation, all of a sudden I dreamed of my ex-boyfriend?

My ex-boyfriend left me for someone else 6 years ago. We were enaged. I never dreamed of him ever, and was not thinking about him either. I have put his memories behind spewcially now that I am engaged.
