Do eyes get better the older you get?

I'm 13 and my eyes aren't good at all. I want to join the military when I grow up, and I don't want to wear those weird looking glasses, because I heard that it is a big disadvantage, and that it can greatly affect your performance. So do eyes get better the older you get? Is there was you can help them get better?

It would be very unusual for your vision to improve with age unless the problem is correctable with surgery or a treatment of some kind. The answer depends on the problem with your vision now. Discuss the issue with the doctor that perscribed your glasses. He/she should be able to give you an idea of your chances of improvement.
