Why am I seing a black screen after completing a video

I created a video using camstudio 2.0. I created a sample video to see how camstudio works. The sample video was demonstration of finding a program using the start menu. When I playback the video all I see is a black background and my curser moving around on the video.

The problem with software products that do things like CamStudiois that there are a lot of different ways the display system can work on your computer.
