Is being shy a big turn off?

im a girl and I didnt know this girl iked me I was ok around her I would act normal but when my friends told me she did like me I started getting all shy she finally told me herself and I told her I liked her too but I got really shy all of a sudden last thursday she kissed me and I really liked it she kissed me so I wouldnt be so shy but friday I couldnt hang out with her cuz of a project then saturday she said I was 2 shy for her. so is being shy a big turn off? and what can I do to not be so shy around her? sorry 2 questions.

Being shy is only a "turnoff" to people who have an expectation of how they think you should be rather than accept you as you are. If you want to go through the discomfort of trying to fit her expectations, go ahead but trust me, life is a lot more fun with someone who accepts you as-is.

Trying to be somebody other than yourself is never a fun experience.
