Folk High school in Norway; How americans can pay.

Hello. I am really thinking about attending a Folk High School in Norway before officially going to College in the states. I know the the Memorial Fund is now closed for good, But is there any other way that I can get a student loan of some kind and go their? It's actually about the same cost as a college in the states, Close to 15 thousand in all, (depending on the school) not counting air-fair and other things. If this were college I would just go on student loan, But is it possible for an american to borrow money from the Norwegian government? What about Getting a student loan in american and then going to Norway with it? Do I have to pay for it all myself? Or is there a special loan I can get for studying abroad?!
