I need to expand on this sentence/ thought? help would be appericated

I am writing a paper and I need help on expanding bascially on "Many people want to see what they believe"... it goes with this "not everyone believes without seeing, so how can they believe and see things since you cannot see them"

Your question reminds me of the old saying used when you're losing the argument: "Who you gonna believe, me or your lying eyes." :-)

Not sure I exactly understand what you're asking. With that in mind:

Facts are things that can be proven. Beliefs are things we think are true but don't have facts to prove. Without facts, we form opinions based on what information is available; sometimes influenced by intuition and what others around us think.
