How can I video capture a movie on my screen on fullscreen mode?

I've been tryin, but only the sound and the background of my computer record as if the vid recorder can't see the video displayed on fullscreen mode.. Answers? thx

CamStudio is intended to record your computer screen for applications like demonstrating software. Some graphics systems play videos in an isolated window that may not be visible to CamStudio. Assuming you have the right Codecs and an up-to-date version of Flash, that would be my first concern.
