Hi ! You can get a dog trimming kit at a pet shop or you can use a humans hair trimming kit too ! I have used both on one of my poodles with know problem ! However if your dog growls when you try to trim it then it may be best for you to take your dog to a professional dog groomer ! Good luck , thanks
Brush it and remove any burrs in the hair.

To groom a dog is not very tough, dogs are intelligent and good friend of humans, you can train them and enjoy their company. Also, it is not an easy task, you need a special bonding with your dog, and good care of them. There are many websites you can find on the internet which provide amazing training tips and all dog grooming advice, such as Teaching a dog to shake hands, not to bite and potty outside etc.

When for the 1st time I bought a dog from Seminole Kennels
for my house, at that time I faced a lot of problems so I consulted with a veterinarian doctor and after that, I do the following steps to groom my dog.
1.Comb out your dog
2.Praise your dog as you're brushing.
3.Give the dog breaks as needed
4.Cut out mats that can't be brushed out.
5.Clear the dog's eyes, ears, contact the vet for any problems, brush his\her teeth, clip its nails, bath your dog with shampoo and make it dry clean, etc.

A grooming table with a grooming arm to secure your dog to (never leave her unattended on the table)
Grooming clippers (a No. 10 blade to avoid cutting the skin)
Clipper and blade coolant.
Use grooming shears.
Nail clippers or a grinder.
