How to go from brown to blonde?

Okay so, my natural hair colour is brown. I dyed my hair a more reddish brown earlier in the year, then I decided I wanted to go blonde, but totally ruined my hair and went a horrible brassy ginger.. I prelightened it twice and it still went orange, I then used an ash light blonde over the top hoping that would take away the ginger.. but it didn't. so I dyed my hair back brown. I did this all within about 3 weeks, which totally ruined my hair. the last time I dyed it was about 2 months ago. but I still want to go blonde, is there any easy ways to do so? please help. I cant go to a stylist, im low on money so i'd rather do it at home.

Darkening your hair takes dye. Lightening it takes bleach and a lot of knowledge about what you're doing. Doing it yourself is OK for darker but for lighter, you need a pro.
