I think another girl likes me, but I also think she is straight. Help!

I'm 15 and i'm bi. There's this one girl in one of my classes that I REALLY like, and I think she is straight. But then she does stuff like punches me in a friendly way, acts kinda weird around me, is kinda mean to me but not mean like a bully, plays with my hair, and other things like one time she held my hand for a split second and then laughed and said she wasn't gay. I don't know if she is bi, bi curious or what. But on her facebook profile it says she is interested in men. and that makes me worried that she doesn't like me in a romantic way. Last year at lunch she sat in my lap for like 5 minutes, but it was because this really nasty boy sat by her. Some days she won't talk to me at all, and she doesn't text me that much. I really like her and want to tell her how I feel, but i'm afraid she will be freaked out and never talk to me again. I would do anything for her, even if she told me to stay away from her. Plz help!

What you want only works if she wants the same thing. Be a good friend to her, talk to her about relationships in general but don't ask about her specifically unles she initiates the subject. Don't try to hit a home run. Take your time and be patient. You'll figure it out.

You have to understand that relationships at any level are a mutual thing, it's not just what you want.

Honestly I don't think she likes you. Of course, this is something you know better, because I can't see her reactions in person, but still - I and the girls around me do those things like all the time and this doesn't mean we like each other in that way at all.

i like this girl......but I am a girl........she loves making me nervous on purpose she just sits on my lap hugs me ....leans on my shoulder and when I look at her nervously with a freaked out face she just leans closer and talks to me and she almost kissed my cheek...... (:
