How do you erase the messages in the External screen of the EnV3?

My phone switches back and forth constantly, and now it has just stopped on the External screen. My messages are full; and its very important that I get my messages erased. Thanks (:

On the touch screen, at the bottom, 'Erase' while the text is on the screen.

If your Inbox is shown, press Options>>Erase all to clear your inbox from the touch screen.
