Who buys vehicles from dealers when they dont sale the previous year

Dealers run a "year end clearance" sale. Some buyers use that as a strategy. Wait until the new models come out and buy last years model. To make that work though, you have to know a good price when you see it. Otherwise you can pay this years price for a year old car.
