Are there legitimate data entry jobs online?

Why is it legal to false advertise job searches for work from home as free? I have wasted so much time searching for legitimate work from home jobs, only to find that they are not free listings

I don't know that it's "legal." it's more like there are enough gullible people in the world that apparently believe businesses will spend the money to create and maintain web sites to give their products away. It's a good policy to never do business with someone that lies to you at the start.

Instead of looking online, see if you can find work locally where you work at home. Some doctors offices use people to type medical records. Real estate companies maintain on-line listings, lawyers always need good typists etc. Any where you see text being used for a business or service, somebody had to type it. When you initiate the job locally, they know you and you know them so neither person risks getting scammed.

It depends what you are looking for and how qualified you are but my sister recently joined LC Telecommuters though and has found an Audio typist job. There was an interview process and they test typing speeds etc but good site if you are good with computers and telephones
