Between 1950 and 2000:

Happiness declined due to the shift in attitude from self reliance and what you put into life to, what's in it for me?

Freedom under our government declined from a massive increase in the number of laws while personal freedoms increased from the government's inability to enforce most of them.

Morality declined from public acceptance of lying for an agenda, birth control pills, and unwillingness to accept the laws of nature.

Architecture: Any giant redwood tree. Once they're gone, even Frank Loyd Wright couldn't make another.

Song: John Lennon's "Imagine."

Film: Cat Ballou for the fantastic performance of a horse.

Gadget: How about a Bic lighter? 100 years from now they may be trying to figure out how to make fire. :-)
