I play basketball and I can't breathe at times what do I do to stay in the game?

At practice we do killers or sometimes called suicides and after running either on killer or one and part of a second one I can't breathe and I don't want that to happen at my games...help please!

First, you should make sure that it's not related to a medical condition like asthma or heart problems. If it's not, the more you run, the more your breathing apparatus develops. That's the purpose of the drills. If there's no medical problem, your body will adjust to the higher level of activity.

Talk to your coach and/or trainer and ask if you should do more running outside practice.

You could put your hands above your head...this helps you breath. Talk to your coach and tell him about this problem. If something happens he will know whats up....and let you sit down or rest or whatever. Just make sure your not pushing it :]
