Cam Studio: what does 'WaveoutGetSelectControl () failed" Mean?

Hi: I'm trying to record from a PowerPoint file including audio.
The audio is not recording.
It says it can't find the 'recording line'. but the manual search confirms line 1.

Anyone help?

Try switching audio options at: Options /Audio Options For Microphone/

Make sure the system audio is not muted and the volume is up.
