How to capture streaming video

Using CamStudio I am not able to capture online live streaming videos. The recorded file has sound but no video is visible.

CamStudio is intended to record your computer screen for applications like demonstrating software. Some graphics systems play videos in an isolated window that may not be visible to CamStudio. Assuming you have the right Codecs and an up-to-date version of Flash, that would be my first concern.

If you're trying to download video from UTube, google UTube Downloader.

Thanks! I got a solution yesterday though. Ya I guess ue logic of invisible window is correct. Well, I ws trying to capture online live tv channels. using Replay AV now to capture the same. works fine. :)
I have no idea about that whether you have used the professional Video Downloader--Video Download Suite(http://www.apowersoft.com/video-download-suite.html), any streaming videos can be captured by it. Because that it has two outstanding video downloading ways: capture videos by url or record streaming videos with built-in recorder.
