My friend stopped talking to me when he got a girlfriend.Were friends again is it guna happen again?

Okay, so he was my best guy friend we talked everyday and got on really well. Then he got a girlfriend, she was one of my friends but she didn't like him talking to me so he stopped. I was hurt by this seeing as we were best friends. So their relationship lasted three months and I talked to him all of about three times during this period. When they broke up I confronted him about this, he apologized and seemed really sincere. Things seemed to be getting back to normal for about a month, we were talking all the time. But in recent weeks he started talking to his ex again and become more distant we only talk once or twice a week and still now this is decreasing. They've been really flirty and I think they may get back together. What does this mean for our friendship? Is he just going to stop talking to me again because of her? Can our friendship ever go back to how it was before her? I really hope it could :(

It would take a lot of self confidence for his gf to accept him having close friends of the opposite sex. Very few young people have that kind of self confidence. He's in the unfortunate position of either making you or his gf happy. You've already seen how that's going to work out.

The best thing you can do is get a bf of your own.
