I'm 17 + my boyfriend's 23. We live in Michigan. Can we get into trouble for dating?

My mom approves, but my dad doesn't. I know the legal age of consent is 16 but that's with parent approval. Does it need to be both? Can my dad press charges?

I doubt there's much he can do about the two of you dating. If he could prove sex is involved like if you turn up pregnant, he might be able to get a warrant. If that happens, your mom will surely say she approved the dating but not the sex.
