Psychologists study mental processes and behavior. There are many things a psycholigist could do like test candidates for jobs, evaluate stress in an occupation or set up programs for rehabilitation in prisons or hospitals etc. In any area where there understanding human behavior is an issue, a psychologist could work there.

If you are considering a career in psychology, be prepared to go to school long enough to achieve a master's degree--or else your degree will be good only for a job flipping burgers at McDonalds.
