My mum is thinking about breaking up with my dad =(

I'm a 15yr boy and have an older brother who is 17 and a younger sister who is 10, my mum tells me her reasons why and I know all about it because me and my mum are really close, the thing is whenever she tells me I feel like crying and I really don't want to hear it, my dad is very anti-social and does nothing that my mum wants to do (i.e going out, Ect) I know I should be supportive but I feel sorry for my dad, he is a big softy in the inside and it would tear him apart. What do I do? Please help

I feel sorry for both your dad and mom but mostly for you kids. What often happens is both of them realize after it's over that with a little communication and willingness to cooperate, the pain could have been avoided and the marriage survived.

Get together with your older brother and explore the possibility of asking your parents to go to marriage counseling.

It's important that the three of you children stick together and give each other support while this is going on.

Why not sit down with your Mum and Dad and have a chat about how YOU and your older Brother and Sister feel. Perhaps get your Dad to see sense like tell him you'r unhappy and that you want him to go out and socialise and spend a little time with his family.

Maybe make an arrangement like your Family go out for a meal once a week? OR see more of your family, just little stuff like that you know...

Trust me things will start to look up and I hope it all goes well for you!
