For a demonstration speech what should I demonstrate?

5-8 minutes speech use of or without a prop.

You can talk a lot longer when you know what you're talking about. Think of the subject you know the most about. Make an outline and practice having a friend time it.

It's a lot easier to deal with if you look at the task as simply standing up and explaining something you know rather than a speech.
