How do I get a screen shot on my computer

I pulled up BING.com and want a pic of what I'm looking at. The road and the house and the trees.

I have CanStudio but that records AVI movies not single screen shots

Assuming you're using Windows, Hold down Ctrl and Print Screen on the keyboard. That will copy the image to the Clipboard.

Load a photo editor program, make a new file and select Paste. Then Crop it if needed and save it.

If you don't have a photo editor, Use MS Paint on your machine at: Start/Programs/Assesories/Paint

Another answer is to use jing available from Tech Smith. There is a free version you can download an use that allows you to copy pictures, screen shots and videos. It is very convenient. After downloading, it puts a little half sun anywhere on your desktop edge. When you want to use it, simply click and capture.
