Do I have to have a resume to have a job as a teen?

Im 17 and I want to know do I have to have a resume in order for me to work. Will it matter that I don't have.

If you have no work experience you have little information to put on a resume. If I were hiring, I would give you a few extra points for a resume because it would show you're serious and have some respect for the hiring process.

Potiental employers not only go by what's on the application. They can tell more about a person from the way they look, how they speak and the questions the applicant asks about the job. If you ask questions that indicate you're interested in doing a good job, that's a big plus. When they hire you, you become a represenative of their business. You have to look and speak like someone they would want representing them.
