How do you make your own country?

A country is about land. If you can find an area of the world not under the control of any government that would be the first step. If people are living there you would have to deal with them. You would have to have some kind of economy if you expect to trade outside the contry. Bottom line, your chances are probably better on the moon if you can manage the transportation issues.
