Why do many people think that people who love Heavy Metal, love the devil?

Why do many people think that people who love Heavy Metal, love the devil? Seriously, why?

Some folks seem to think anything that's fun means you "love the devil." Heavy metal bands have set a poor example in some cases but just because you like the music doesn't mean you buy into the behavior. Enjoying the music is fine, it's when you make the choice to imitate their behavior that it becomes a problem.
