Tell me about pirates/murmids/wild life in general. (age 5years) in brief.

my daughter is 5 years old. she wants to know about pirates/murmaids/wild life. Please explain in few lines. I'm trying to do her homework.

Pirates wear funny hats and talk like, "shiver me timbers," whatever that means. Bears, foxes and snakes live in the woods and like to be left alone. We should honor their wishes and never go close to one of them. Nobody has ever seen a mermaid. I think that story got started when a fat lady put both feet in the same leg of her pantyhose. :-)
