How can I get to know a guy better

i dont really know her well enough to go out with her, and theres no point cause we are going soon
he has known ma friend for ages and wouldnt lie to her. my mum says she can give me lifts up to where he live, so that solves the distance problem. but I really really really like him and I wanna get to know him better...
but he knows I like him...

how do I get to know him over a computer

p.s I do actually know this guy in real life but he lives a bitty away from me and I only have his facebook addy if he accepts... :( HELP PLEASE

If you can get an ongoing connection and chat him up via the Internet, you can learn a lot about him. Ask him what he thinks about this and that. It's also a good way to evaluate how he feels about you. If he's willing to keep the chatter going with you, that's a good sign. I would be careful not to overdo it at the start. When you send him a message, wait until he answers to send another. Otherwise he may think you're coming on too strong and it could scare him off.

Just go with the flow and see what happens.

thank you guys.. what could I use as scentence starters.??
sorry but I am totally hopeless at this kinda stuff
How about, "What kind of cereal do you like?" :-)

Next time you see him, send him a message the next day saying, "It was good to see you yesterday...." then ask him about his car, his dog or something you discussed. The point is, if he's interested in you, he will reply to any message you send and if he isn't, you'll know. Good luck.
