Sell or promote my handmade sculptures

Hi I am an Artist and I would like to know how does one start selling their own art work. they are all handmade, made of all natural Items,I have made alot of little ones that make excellent sci-fi creatures,I have been told they would make great characters for childrens books, or a sci-fi movie. I just need help getting them out there.along the lines of Harry potter or Schrek.the characters are already made and I am making like 2 or 3 a day.

My suggestion would be to first decide whether you want to sell the designs or "handmade sculptures." The way they would be marketed would be totally different. Designing sci-fi characters sounds like the movies or publishing businesses are your target customers. Sculptures sounds like something you would sell retail, possibly directed at the toy or novelty industries.
