No carbs diet and coffee with cream and sugar

Hi, my name is Steve, I want to know if I drink cream and sugar in my coffee while on the no carbs diet am I defeating the purpose of the no carbs?

The sugar has a lot of carbs. Try a sugar substitute and the least amount of cream you can live with.
