How do I get rid of the smell of something dying under my house?

Something has died under my house & I can't find it. How do I get rid of the smell.!!!

By "can't find it" you mean you've been under the house and cannot locate the source of the odor?

If it's a small animal like a rat, the smell will go away in a short time, larger animals take a lot longer. If you can locate it, put lime on it and it will kill the odor. There is nothing you can apply to an odor if you don't know where it's coming from.
