What is ethics anyway? Exactly what is the real meaning to that word?

I guess what I'm trying to ask is What exactly does it mean to be ethical or unethical? Plz explain what this words means to you or what is the text book definition for those words. Plz explain, thank you in advance and god bless.

Ethics are standards of behavior within a society or group. The ethical standards in one nation may be different from another and they may be different between religions within a nation. They are simply how the community you live in expects you to act.
