What am I missing? She seems to like me.

I known this girl that I really like for a while and recently we have been talking a lot more because she is having problems with her life. She tells me everything almost everytime we talk and she flirts with me at school. She also has made plans to do stuff with me on the weekends and then she either cancels or doesn't call me back. This past Friday she wanted to go to the beach and she had this whole plan but then the day we were gonna go she says " oh idk if I wanna go anymore I kinda wanna go shopping." so I just go do my own thing that day and then I call her that night to see what she's doing for the and she's hanging out with some other people I'm assuming some other guy cuz she started getting irritated saying I'm being so nosey. I didn't ask her anymore but I thought it was weird because for the past month she would talk to me about everything. Any thoughts on this would be nice

You're doing it backwards Josh. When you chase a girl, she runs from you. When you run from a girl, she chases you. You're trying too hard. Give her some competition.
