Can I use any battery in my car.its a v8 I want to know if I can use one from a 6 cyl
Batteries are rated by voltage and cold-crank amps, not by the number of cylinders in the engine. As long as the voltage is the same and you connect them with the right polarity it will work in warm weather. In cold weather, a battery with too few cold crank amps would not start the vehicle and could possibly damage the battery.
