Can your job fire you if under doctors care

I been off work since April due to pregnancy disability and then when ob/gyn doctor took me off his care . I took the paid family leave for additional 6 weeks. I am currently going to counseling due to high level of depression and now my counselor or psyciatrist is taking me off work for another month. Can I be fired from my job if took this extra time off my psyciatrist feels I need?

You can be terminated at any time you inform the employer you don't intend to return to work or when you have exhausted your FMLA entitlement, whichever comes first.
