Jailbroken iPod touch what to do now?

I just got an iPod touch.
It's jailbroken and I wanted to know if I can download applications from the apple store for free somehow..
I also wanted to know what else you can do with a jailbroken iPod touch. It's a second genararion If that makes any difference
