My dog was attacked by another dog

my dog was attacked in our yard by are neighbors friends dog a bull mastiff 120 lbs my dog 5 pounds. mine was in are yard but not on a leash and hers was. but still its my dogs yard. anyway it did tremendous damage to my dogs shoulder which may need surgery emergency vet bill was 800 which I had to pay, but who is really

You certainly have a case to sue the dog's owner and possibly your neighbor if the leash was installed so it extended onto your property. Keep all of the bills, names of any witnesses and take photos of your dog and the attacking dog.

That's terrible you need to ring the police 😦
