When can my cat go back outside?

I have four cats that were spayed yesterday. They are all, normally, outside cats and are going crazy being stuck in the house. They're starting to drive me a bit nutty as well. I've been keeping the litter boxes clean but they're still going on the floor. When can they go back outside?

The vet that did the operation should have provided that information. Call them and ask.
