I would have a hard time considering someone a close friend that treats my personal secrets as public knowledge. That doesn't mean you have to completely avoid her, I just wouldn't give her anything to talk about.

For many different reasons, we sometimes assume other people have the same feeling about us as we have about them but that's not always the case. It's a real bummer when we find out the truth but as we get older hopefully we get wiser at choosing friends.
