Need help fast finding a loan

single mom going to school looking for help finding a loan for $2000.00. husband left me holding the bag. now I need to find a loan to pay off the last 2000 left on my house before I loose it. Have tried banks, and I dont want payday loans. no family to ask. where can I turn??? Help please.

If you own a house with only 2000 left on the balance, you must have a considerable amount of equity in the property. Go to the bank that holds the mortgage and ask to refinance the house. In today's market, the last thing a bank wants is another foreclosure.

No one will refinance it its an older trailer.

I would go to the people that you owe the 2000 to and explain your situation to them. Cry if you can. That will tell them that you want to pay and you're working on it. See if you can trade off more time for a lower payment.

Unless the mortgage holder is a total jerk, it will be difficult for them to look you in the eye and say they're going to put you out on the street.

You're in a fight. Try to get them on you're side and do your absolute best at living up to your side of the bargain.
