yeah the town where I live is insane. if you arent religious you are pretty much shunned and hated. im originally from a very non religious city and I was never religious. although I did find a small group of people who except me for who I am

People that may disagree with the assumption in your question aren't crazy, they just have different beliefs than you. If religion could be proven it would be called a fact, not a belief.
