My 93 grand cherokee's vehicle info center has shut off completely. why? also the compas/mini trip c

My 93 Grand Cherokee's vehicle info center has shut off(screen totally off). Why? Also the overhead compas/mini-trip computer shuts on/off and gives erroneous temperatures. why? Thanks for any replies on these issues.

If the entire info center is down, first thing to check would be the fuse. If you don't have one, a Haynes manual for that model will help.
