I have a virus on my computer is there a free software I can download it my Norton expired

I am unemployed and cannot afford to buy Norton, and my Macafee wont work either since the virus has infected the computer

There are virus scanners that offer free trials but you have to be very careful. Many will want you to pay before the process is complete and if you don't, some will load even more junk on your machine.

If you know someone who is knowledgable about computers, I would advise having them look at it. Some malware can be easily disconnected from the startup and some self-replicating viruses are virtually impossible and may require wiping the hard drive and starting over.

Free virus software is often very expensive once you deal with the hassle.

one of the ones that I have heard that is excellent is avast. its completely free and I have yet to have a problem with it.

Download Malwarebytes and SuperAntiSpyware, both free programs with great on demand scanners. These programs should get rid of the viruses. I have written a post on my business site http://www.computect.net/malware-prevention-tips/ that outlines a list of freeware that should suite your needs. Some names include Avira, Avast, Comodo Internet Sercurity, Microsoft Security Essentials, etc, take your pick.

u try 2 downld antivirus from brothersoft/software.com.......here v gt many free antivirus...
