Can I sue my father for not paying the right amount of child support a year/month

Hello there, I am 16 years old and trying to work hard to get my high school education as of right now. I'm getting really upset because my father cuts back on my child support $1000 a year and he's a Private Investigator. Instead of paying my full amount of child support, he takes that money and goes on trips with his wife such as london england and florida. I asked him if he could help me buy a Nikon D3000 photography camera that I saw online and he strickly said "NO, I DONT HAVE THE MONEY" but I clearly know he does and I REALLY want to have a good camera for my small photography business. What do I do? I can't keep seeing my mom having no money for anything, and I can't keep living with the fact my father doesn't pay the full amount he's suppost to. My mother even asked my father to look at his T4's and he tells her NO all the time. I have tried sitting down with him and talking to him about this but all he does is scream in my face and he scares the shit out of me, he doesn't just raise his voice, he SCREAMS. Please, tell me, what can I do? :(

Unless he was paying more than the court ordered him to pay before, he can't cut back the amount without going back to court. In most cases the money is payable to the custodial parent, not the child so you may not have the ability to file suit, it may have to be done by the adult that has custody of you. Contact the clerks office of the court that issued the child support order and ask how you should proceed. Some states will collect the money for you.

Morally, a parent should support and help their children but under the law, they aren't required to provide cameras.

I just dont know what to do.
my mom doesn't have the money to take that ass of a man to court, and I dont either.
If you don't know what to do, why not, "Contact the clerks office of the court that issued the child support order and ask how you should proceed."

Again, some states will collect the money for you.
