I am 57 yr old female, considered articulate/intelligent. What could cause my sudden speech problem

I am finding it difficult to access the right words needed in normal conversation. This is a sudden thing for me and it doesn't feel like stuttering - more like I have to stop and think hard to find exact word or phrase. The pause is noticable. This is something I have never experienced before.

There are a lot of things that could cause that but this isn't the right place for that question, you need to see a doctor. Don't get worked up into a nervous knot over it in the meantime, it may not be that serious. But just in case, I'd do it as soon as possible.

Estrogen depletion can cause such a symptom.
