What time is it if it is 10 of 12:00, is it 11:50 or 12:10?

Most likely, it is 11:50. The usual expression is "10 to 12" or "10 til 12", not 10 of 12. 10 after 12 would be 12:10. Who really cares what time it is anyway?!
